"Modeling Method w/ HEC-HMS"
I am a CAD specialist / designer. I have been getting more involved with stormwater design in the last year or so. If anyone is willing, would they tell me if this method of modeling is only acceptable for certain scenerios, or (with the information I have given you) seems that it could work to model Peak discharge for any watershed using Hec-hms.

Basin Data Aquired (Area, Length, Slope)
Rainfall Data developed using NOAA Atlas 2
Rainfall loss based on Green Ampt
Clark Unit Hydrograph for Runoff
Storage Coefficient based on Local Agency

I really just need to know if there might be a reason I would use something other than the Green Ampt or Clark Unit Hydrograph.
