"A new ground water textbook by Schwartz and Zhang"
A new introductory ground water textbook, Fundamentals of Ground Water, was published by Wiley. The book was co-authored by Frank Schwartz and Hubao Zhang.

Here are the features of the textbook.

(a)In-text pedagogy featuring numerous worked examples and exercises in each chapter, as well as end-of-chapter highlights to emphasize important concepts.
(b)Can serve as an introductory groundwater text for students or as a reference for ground-water professionals.
(c)Window-based computer programs simulate groundwater processes.
(d)Excel spreadsheet programs demonstrate the calculation of mass transport processes.
(e)PowerPoint slides illustrate field methods and technology, and take students on virtual tours of interesting study areas and field problems.
(f)Complete answers to the exercises (about 150 pages) only available to instructors.
