"Iraq Exploration Data Package "
The Earth Satellite Corporation has prepared a Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper 15 meter resolution Geologic Exploration Data Package For The Zagros Foldbelt And Mesopotamian Trough Of Iraq. This package consists of eighteen 2º x 2º map sheets at 1:250,000 scale with geologic interpretation and tectonic synthesis overlays describing hydrocarbon exploration potential of the country. In addition to the geologic information the data set contains RegionalGravity Data,Regional Depth to Basement, EarthSat’s 13 category GeoCover Land Cover Analysis, Oil Fields, Refineries, Pipelines, and Political Boundaries. The data is presented as GIS (ARC/INFO, ARC GIS, and ArcView) files. The data can be modified as required for use in groundwater exploration.
