CORMIX Mixing Zone Model WorkshopSeptember 21,22 2004

Portland State University and MixZon (which now licenses and distributes CORMIX software) will sponsor a 2- day CORMIX Training Workshop to be held September 21st (Tuesday) and 22nd (Wednesday) 2004 in Portland, Oregon on the PSU Campus.
Workshop registration is now open, however space is limited and early application is suggested. This may be your only chance in 2004 to:
Learn the basic theory of mixing zone models as well as techniques and tips for advanced model application.
Discover how to avoid benthic impacts with proper outfall design and how to comply with regulatory requirements.
Explore new ways to schematize your data to avoid typical input data restrictions and extend model application.
Earn credits for 1.6 CEU (Continuing Education Units) or 16 Professional Development Hours (PDH) based upon 10 contact hours per CEU.
Dr. Robert L. Doneker, one of the primary developers of CORMIX, will be the course instructor. Now is the time to register to get expert instruction on mixing processes, regulatory requirements, and advanced methods for CORMIX mixing zone modeling.

Workshop tuition is only $750.00 for registration before December 31, 2003; $800.00 thereafter. Tuition includes all workshop materials, however CORMIX software for use outside the workshop must be purchased separately.
