The Institute of Applied Geology (IAG) at National Central University in Taiwan invites applications for a faculty position at Assistant, Associate, or Full professor level, beginning on 16/01/2004 or 01/08/2004. Appointment to this position requires speaking Chinese or English, and will be responsible for research and graduate teaching in at least one of the following areas: environmental hydrogeology, contaminant hydrogeology, fate and transport of POP or NAPL in subsurface, vadoze zone hydrology, groundwater quality control and monitoring techniques, investigation and remediation of NAPL contamination, or other related fields. Offering M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, IAG has a Research Well Field along with five laboratories (Engineering Geology, Environmental Geochemistry, Groundwater, Soil and Rock Mechanics, and Ground Penetrating Radar). Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and a strong publication record.
