Dr. S.K. Jain was awarded MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY degree with specialization in Advanced Geohydrology from University of Roorkee (Now I.I.T, Roorkee) in first division with second rank in the University. Just after his M.Tech., he joined Central Ground water Board, Government of India as class I officer and Groundwater expert securing very high position in All India Civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. While in service with the Government, Dr. Jain was awarded postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management, Bombay with highest marks in Business Management group and was recipient of Kulpati Medal. During the service period, Government of India also sent him for training course in “ Computer Application in Hydrogeology” which he completed successfully. His main intellectual pursuits are scientific investigation for Groundwater and other earth resources. He has served Government of India for 8 years in senior positions and during his service with the Government; his last investigation was on “Water Supply Investigation for Air Force Complex, Mount Abu, Rajasthan. Dr. Jain is a Groundwater and earth resources scientist.Dr. Jain has resigned from government job after serving the government for 8 years and there after, he has developed his own water investigation organization with a team of experts in private sector in 1985 and is continuously serving the industrialists, institutions and farmers in the field of development of groundwater, Minerals & other earth resources. He has also been awarded Doctorate by the M.G.S. International University Foundation, Delware U.S.A. in honour of his research work in the field of earth resources investigations Dr. Jain’s Biography is published in the world references book-international who’s who if intellectuals, Cambridge, England, 1985 edition Dr. Jain is also a educationalist & serving as President Modern Public School for last 15 years. He is a member of several international associations like, Albert Einstein academy foundation, U.S.A., Consultancy Development Centre, Govt. of India etc. In the field of social services, Dr. Jain has been honoured by Rajasthan Jain Mahasabha as “/Samaj Ratan” & is a member of Mahavir International and other social service organizations.
Dr. Jain has also contributed many research papers in reputed National and International journals and conferences.
Dr. Jain joined Rotary club, Jaipur in 1995-1996. In Rotary, Dr. Jain managed implementation of Drinking water supply projects at Beelwa, Kuli, Jamdoli & Sheopur. Managed successfully various community service projects. Dr. Jain also went to participate in 1999 Singapore Rotary International convention and has also written several articles on all subjects covering science, education, culture etc. for T.V., Radio & Rotary platform. Dr. Jain is widely traveled to USA, UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & other countries. Dr. Jain has also been honored with the award “Eminent Personality of India” by International Biography Research Foundation & the original volume is on display at National Library, Calcutta.
