Dear Sir/Madam, I am doing research work on water conservation in lateritic formations of coastal aquifers in the Dept of Applied mechanics & Hydraulics, NITK Surathkal. As these formations are porous and permeable,the natural replenishment takes place during monsoon (june-sept) but during non monsoon period(oct-may)there is no recharge.The wells dry up during the months of mar-apr-may.I would like to work on arresting the base flow for water coservation. In this connection, I request you to kindly send me the hard copy/soft copy or any information in connection with this work. Your positive response will be highly acknowledged.
