"Grain- size to K data using Sauerbrei equation - Help"
I am looking for guidance in deciding when to use the Sauerbrei equation to estimate hydraulic conductivity from grain-size data. Specifically, what percentage of the sandy material must have a grain size greater than 0.5 mm. Does anyone have experimental or imperical data to suggest when the Sauerbrei equation can be used.

Tbanks.
